SST9's Regional Literacy Network exists as a universal support for district and building teams entrusted to lead language and literacy growth aligned to Ohio's Plan to Raise Literacy Achievement for all students and adults in their district, building, grade level and community.
In collaboration with our partners at the Stark County and Tri-County Educational Service Centers, we strive to equip and empower all stakeholders in their role in providing high quality opportunities to develop language and literacy skills for children Birth-Grade 12 rooted in Ohio's Theories of Action:
Shared Leadership
Multi-Tiered Systems of Support
Educator Capacity
Family Partnerships
Community Collaboration
We encourage districts to consider all of the stakeholders who engage in the above Theories of Action to participate in this network. This includes, but is not limited to, district leaders, building leaders, coaches and community programs and partners.
