Class of 2025 Senior Events

Senior Reception: Marriott, 28 Day Hill Rd., Windsor, CT

The Senior reception will take place on Friday, May 30th  from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Light hors d’oeuvres will be served followed by a buffet dinner.  Please note this is a semi-formal event. Though this is typically a class event, guests are welcome. If the guest is not a current SWHS student, then a completed guest permission slip must be turned in with payment. Payment will not be accepted without the completed permission slip. 

Dinner & Table Sign Ups

More information regarding the buffet dinner and table sign ups will be shared later in the spring. 

Senior Outing: Holiday Hill, Cheshire, CT

The Senior Outing will be held on Thursday, May 22nd at Holiday Hill in Cheshire, CT. This is a full day event with games, competitions, canoeing, swimming (2 heated pools), mini golf, and more. All activities and food are included in the cost of the event. Breakfast, lunch, snacks, soda, water and juice are available in abundance. If you have special dietary needs or concerns please let us know and contact the venue directly.

Seniors attending the Outing must report to school by 7:25 AM. All seniors going on the outing will be assigned to a bus; no cars are permitted. Information about bus sign-ups will be posted in Google Classroom. All bags will be searched prior to boarding the buses. No food, drinks, or any other liquids are allowed. All medication must be brought to the school nurse prior to May 19th. Students may bring a bathing suit, towel, sunblock, change of clothing, jacket, Frisbee, sports equipment, etc. DO NOT BRING valuables (jewelry, wallets, etc.) and there is no need to bring money. We will depart Holiday Hill at 3:30 PM and return to SWHS by approximately 4:30 PM. 

A Permission Slip signed by a parent or guardian is required to attend.

Graduation: Dunkin’ Donuts Park, Hartford, CT

Graduation will be held on Monday, June 16th at 2:00 PM (rain date, June 17th at 2:00 PM) at Dunkin’ Park. Specific details for graduation will be provided at a future time.
