Class of 2026 Senior Events

Senior Outing: Boston, MA

The Senior Outing will be a day trip to Boston, MA on Thursday, May 21st. Events that day include: a visit to the New England Aquarium (ticket included), shopping and lunch at Quincy Market (at your expense), shopping on Newbury Street (at your expense) and/or leisure time at Boston Common Park. 

Seniors attending the Outing must report to school by 7:25 AM. All seniors going on the outing will be assigned to a bus; no cars are permitted. Information about bus sign-ups will be posted in Google Classroom. All bags will be searched prior to boarding the buses. All medication must be brought to the school nurse prior to May 20th. Students may bring a bag. Items you may need/want during the day may include: sunblock, jacket, umbrella, good walking shoes, blanket, Frisbee, etc. We will depart Boston at about 4:00 PM and return to SWHS by approximately 6:30 PM. We will not be stopping for dinner on the way home - please plan accordingly.

A Permission Slip is required to be completed by a parent or guardian and can be found on Parent Square.

Senior Reception: Marriott, 28 Day Hill Rd., Windsor, CT

The Senior reception will take place on Friday, May 29th  from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Light hors d’oeuvres will be served followed by a buffet dinner.  Please note this is a semi-formal event. Though this is typically a class event, guests are welcome. If the guest is not a current SWHS student, then a completed guest permission slip must be turned in with payment. Payment will not be accepted without the completed permission slip. 

Dinner & Table Sign Ups

More information regarding the buffet dinner and table sign ups will be shared later in the spring. 

Graduation: Dunkin’ Donuts Park, Hartford, CT

Graduation will be held on Tuesday, June 16th (rain date, June 17th) at Dunkin’ Park. Specific details for graduation will be provided at a future time.
