The jump from third grade to fourth grade is tremendous, as our older students begin the process of refining their artwork. We analyze the process of art-making from the birth of an idea, to the development of our artwork, to the realization and refinement and critique of our finished masterpiece. We combine media, overlap processes and engage in a more sophisticated creation of art.
Looking at artwork helps us to better understand how artists use the Elements of Art and Principles of Design in their artwork.
