 Applications for the 2026 - 2027 school year are now open.

Applications will be reviewed and families notified starting in March.  Should interest exceed capacity, placements will be made by lottery.

The Preschool Learning Center, operated by the South Windsor High School Career & Technical Education Department, is now accepting applications for the 2026 - 2027 school year.  

Led by a certified Early Childhood Education teacher, the Learning Center supports children as they develop early literacy, numeracy, and social skills needed for a successful transition to Kindergarten.  Learning activities also introduce children to art, music, and exercise.  

The preschool is supported by high school students studying early childhood education, and teen students serve as mentors for participating children.  

The Learning Center includes a sunny, spacious classroom, adjoining lavatories, and an enclosed playground.
