The history of the Criminal Justice Club is rich in meaningful experiences and opportunities that have helped students grow both academically and professionally. Over the years, our members have participated in work-based field trips, visiting and learning from professionals in various areas of the justice system. We have toured facilities and met with agents from the FBI, U.S. Marshals, attorneys, judges, and law enforcement officers, gaining firsthand knowledge of how the system operates. These experiences have provided us with valuable insights into real-world careers and the skills necessary to succeed in them.
In addition to field trips, our club has also participated in competitions where we had the chance to observe and engage in mock trials, legal arguments, and public speaking events. These competitions allowed us to practice critical thinking, teamwork, and communication under pressure, all of which are essential skills in the criminal justice field. Through these activities, the Criminal Justice Club continues to prepare students for future careers, build leadership qualities, and inspire a deeper understanding of the justice system
Excuses are monuments of nothingness, they build bridges that lead to nowhere, those who use these tools of incompetence are masters of nothingness, excuses!

Hi, I’m Elikai Brown, the Assistant Chief of Corrections for the Criminal Justice Career Technical Student Organization(CJCTSO). I take pride in leading with focus, discipline, and a strong sense of responsibility. My role in both areas has taught me the importance of structure, clear communication, and staying calm under pressure, especially in high-stakes or competitive environments.
Last year, I earned fifth place at the state level, an experience that motivated me to refine my skills, trust my training, and continue striving for excellence. That achievement wasn’t just about ranking; it showed me what’s possible when preparation meets purpose.
Whether I’m organizing operations, supporting my team, or stepping up as a leader, I’m constantly looking for ways to improve, both personally and professionally. I believe leadership isn’t just about giving direction, it’s about earning respect, showing up consistently, and setting the tone for success.

Looking ahead, I aim to expand our social media presence and establish a solid community for future alumni, those interested in our program, and the general public. One of my goals as a PR chief is to have a significant impact on future generations, as well as to effectively manage our social media, in order to adapt and promote our team for a better future and increased opportunities.
