Physical properties of matter can be investigated to distinguish between heterogeneous mixtures, homogeneous mixtures, and pure substances.
Students will explain the relationship between kinetic energy and temperature and investigate how thermal energy moves.
Students will investigate that forces and motion within a system are related through Newton’s three laws of motion.

Testing and Other Assessments:
Students should expect to take a Common Formative Assessment (CFA) at least once every ten (10) days OR after completing each lesson within a unit. Please check with your child's teacher through ParentSquare for more frequent testing and classwork updates.
