National Junior Honor Society

Mont Pleasant Middle School started a chapter of National Junior Honor Society during the 2021 - 2022 school year. Eligible students were selected to be a part of this Honor Society. Please review the information here and contact Megan Sellepack, chapter adviser with any questions.

National Junior Honor Society Timeline for Spring 2024

By February 16 - Eligible Candidates received candidate information packets

Thursday, February 15 during 7th grade lunch - Optional Help Session

Tuesday, February 27 during 7th grade lunch - Optional Help Session

Friday, March 1 @ 3:00 PM - Candidate Information Forms due to Mrs Sellepack

• Paper Forms: Forms must be delivered to the MPMS Library by Friday, March 1 at 3:00 PM. Forms should be handed directly to Mrs Sellepack. 

• Digital Forms: Forms must be emailed or shared with Mrs Sellepack at sellepackm@schenectadyschools.org by Friday, March 1 at 3:00 PM. 

By April 12 - Notification - Students were notified whether or not they were selected for National Junior Honor Society at Mont Pleasant Middle School. 

May TBD - Members selected into the National Junior Honor Society will be inducted in a ceremony at Mont Pleasant Middle School.
