Business Studies is an exciting subject which provides a theoretical understanding of the main activities of a business organization. By studying business studies you will gain a good understanding of how to develop and support arguments using the tools of business analysis.

A-level Unit 3: Business 3
A-Level is assessed by three two hours written exams each worth 33.3 % at the end of the course. Paper1: Multiple choice questions, short answers and two essays. Paper 2: Three compulsory data response questions. Paper 3: One compulsory case study consisting of 6 questions.
You will complete data response exercises and essays. You will also take part in debates, discussion and presentations. To deal with the finance aspects of the course you will need to be confident when working with numbers.
Business Studies is a subject which will be useful for any career. At university it is possible to study Business Studies on its own or in combination with many other subjects.
There may be opportunities to take part in subject specific conferences or industry visits.
