Movie night: Hold a documentary screening that touches on a topic you are passionate about. Discuss this issue with a subject matter expert and how to take action.

Community Service Example
Partner with an assisted living facility to build intergenerational connections, empathy, and understanding.
Organize days throughout the year where senior citizens come to the school and engage with students. Activities can include arts and crafts or having lunch together.

anniversary of Dr King’s birth on January 15, 2029.
