We would like to recognize Cortez’s AVID students for their service this year.

“Cortez AVID students have committed to community service. Some of the projects they have done this school year include a campus clean up and making a "Get Well" video message for an ill staff member. Recently, a group of these students volunteered at the annual Kindness Carnival in which they set up for the event and helped at some of the booths. The students have enjoyed their time serving and look forward to upcoming opportunities.”  Ms. DeLeon, AVID Coordinator.
