Incredible Years Series of Classes (website link): The Incredible Years® evidence-based early intervention parenting programs focus on strengthening parenting competencies and fostering parent involvement in children’s school experiences, to promote children’s academic, social, and emotional skills and reduce conduct problems. The parent intervention programs are delivered to groups of parents/caregivers according to their child’s age group: babies (0-12 months), toddlers (1-3 years), preschoolers (3-6 years), and school age (6-12 years).

The Escalation Cycle is a resource through Seattle Children's Hospital and helps us understand our emotions and behaviors when we get mad, sad, or upset. It helps us pick interventions and healthy coping skills to return to our baseline behaviors. This goes along with the Zones of Regulation materials perfectly.
The movies: Inside out and Inside out 2 are great for kids to understand this as well.
NSD Mental Health Referrals (link attached here): This is a list of public and private mental health service providers compiled by the Northshore School District:
Seattle Children's Referral Network (link attached here): This resource connects you to a referral specialist who finds a provider that matches your needs and accepts your insurance. They also check back with you to see if the provider was a good fit.
Care Solace (link attached here): Contact your counselor to utilize this free service in NSD. Care Solace will do the work of helping families find a good match for their child and a therapist in the community. This can save you time, if you'd like to utilize them. They will work to find a therapist in network with your insurance as well if you have insurance you want to use. This is free and is available for family and individual counseling.
