¡Bienvenidos! Welcome! I am delighted that you have decided to continue your study of the Spanish language and its cultures. Many of the same skills you developed in your first year will be carried over into this year. You can expect to strengthen your skills in reading, writing, speaking, listening and your knowledge of culture during the entire year. You will also be challenged to look for new ways to take your language learning outside of the classroom. Your ability to use the language in all forms will definitely grow. I hope you are ready to join your classmates and myself in this exciting journey of Spanish 200!

Course goals

• Communicate in Spanish at the highest level possible for you
• Work towards proficiency in listening, speaking, reading and writing in Spanish
• Build vocabulary and understanding of Spanish grammar
• Work up to immersion in the language
• Learn about Spanish-speaking cultures and develop cultural understanding

Realidades 2 Resources

• Realidades 2 Online Student Text: This is the actual online version of your textbook! To access it you will need to contact me and I can get you the username and password.
• Realidades 2 Student Homepage: This is good for additional practice form the text and workbook. This IS NOT the online text--this site has additional resources, like games, videos, etc.
