I grew up in the small town of Coupeville on Whidbey Island. After high school, I attended Western Washington University and earned my BA in Spanish. After a study abroad program in Puebla, Mexico and teaching at Beaverton High School in Oregon , my family and I moved backed to Washington state. I have been at Inglemoor since 2014.
I love teaching Spanish. I can't imagine doing anything else (well, maybe being an international spy!). I love everything about the Spanish language and cultures and can't wait to share what I know with my students and inspire them to want to learn more about the Spanish speaking cultures around the world. In addition to my time in Puebla, I've traveled to Panama, the Dominican Republic and Spain.
When I'm not teaching Spanish I love to spend time with my family and friends. I also love to cook, garden, hike, take walks with my family, eat chocolate and drink coffee.
I can't wait to start this new school year and get to know my students!
