Who am I?

I'm Ms. Nuss and I get to be your third grade teacher this year. This is my 8th year teaching 3rd grade at Canyon Creek. I love helping you become a stronger reader. I love teaching you how to explain your thinking in math. I love teaching you how to teach others in writing. Oh, and I love teaching you about the world. Are you noticing a pattern?

Teaching is one of my favorite things but, I also I LOVE finding new parks where I can spend the entire afternoon reading in the sun. I do like reading on a sunny beach even more than in a sunny park though. I like the sun and running but don't love them together.

If I am not reading in the sun, I might be at a baseball game with friends (go Mariners, one year we might do well). My friends and I spend time at games and playing games. I am excellent at Taboo, and Mario Kart. I have lots of movie nights and they are made that much better with ice cream and cheese pizza. I especially love hanging out with friends who have dogs that I can pet. I also like to bake, mostly things that involve chocolate. After reading, my favorite thing to do it to paint wood signs, I always make mistakes while doing them and it doesn't even matter-my type of craft. Oh, I love to shop, and tell funny stories too.

If you can't tell, I have many favorites, here are a few more. Purple is the best color ever, though I wish polk a dots were considered a color. My favorite animal is a Giant Panda but, I have a soft spot for dinosaurs too. My day is always better if I have a chocolate milkshake or a vanilla cupcake with chocolate frosting. I also love to have purple tulips somewhere in my apartment.
