We can use mindful breathing to help calm down from big emotions. There are a lot of different ways in which you can calm down. This is one of them. Draw a square on a paper in front of you. Place your index finger on the bottom right of the square. Follow the arrows like you see on the page next to this. Once you go around the square, it is one complete deep breath.
Set a time for one minute. Once the timer has started, close your eyes. While your eyes are closed, listen to all of the sounds that are around you. Listen without judging the sound. Once the timer is finished, write down all of the sounds that you heard. Do this activity at least two times. You will be amazed by how many things you hear!
