Barb Chessler, OTR/L

Barb Chessler has been an occupational therapist with the Northshore School District for 23 years. She graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with a B.S. in Applied Mathematics/Computer Science. After working for IBM for several years, Barb realized that her path in life was to help people so she returned to school to get an M.S. in occupational therapy. Barb loves school OT and its focus to improve students' functioning in school! It gives her great joy working directly with students to improve their motor skills and working with teachers to support the students, including their sensory needs. In addition, Barb is a member of the NSD Special Education Assistive Technology Team providing support to IEP teams and doing on-site consultations for students' technology needs.

Kim Mueller, MS, OTR/L

Kim Mueller has been an occupational therapist for the past 10 years and joined NSD in 2018. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin - Madison with a B.S. in Genetics and Bacteriology. She was involved in numerous research projects and has publish her results in scientific journals. In 2018, she went back to school at the University of Chicago - Illinois for her Master's degree in Occupational therapy. Kim enjoys being part of the NSD team, and splits her time between Sorenson Early Education Center.
