Build muscles. Exercises that increase muscle strength, power, endurance, and mass include tug of war, tree climbing, swinging and climbing on playground equipment.
Strengthen bones. Hopping, skipping, jumping rope, running, gymnastics, and sports such as basketball, volleyball, and tennis are all activities that help your bones grow.
Here is a link for some district resources that PE teachers across the district have worked together to make accessible for students to be active and moving. We also highly encourage getting outside to play. It is encouraged students get 60 active minutes a day.
