Welcome to Room 19!
Welcome to a new school year! This is my 28th year in education and my fourth year at Frank Love Elementary. I’m thrilled to be teaching our 2nd/3rd grade split class this year!
Teaching Background & Experience Over the course of my career, I’ve had the privilege of serving students in a variety of roles:
Classroom Teaching: 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade, as well as 2nd/3rd grade EAP
Student Support: Title I Coordinator supporting K–5 reading
Leadership: Associate Principal and Principal
While I’ve enjoyed my time in school leadership, my heart has always belonged in the classroom—learning, growing, and discovering alongside students.
About Me I live in Kenmore with my family. Our son, Hudson, is starting his senior year at UW, and our two grown daughters live in San Marcos and Boise. Outside of school, my wife and I love traveling, spending time on the lake, and making memories with our family—especially our grandchildren!
Classroom Wish List Throughout the year, I’ll keep our classroom wish list updated with books, supplies, and snack pantry items to support our learning and projects. If you'd like to contribute, you can view our list here: Classroom Amazon Wish List.
I’m looking forward to a wonderful year of growth, curiosity, and community in Room 19!
It's a great day to be a Cheetah!
