This is my 27th year in education and my third year at Frank Love Elementary. I’m thrilled to be teaching 2nd grade this year! Over the years, I’ve taught 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade, taught a 2nd and 3rd grade EAP, and served as a Title I coordinator supporting K–5 students with reading. I’ve also had the privilege of serving as both an associate principal and principal, but my heart is always in the classroom, learning alongside students.
I live in Kenmore with my family. Our son, Hudson, will be starting his junior year at UW, and our two grown daughters live in Austin and Boise. My wife and I enjoy traveling, spending time on the lake, and being with family—especially our grandchildren!
Throughout the year, I’ll keep our Amazon classroom wish list updated with books, supplies, and snack pantry items to help support our learning and projects: Class Wish List.
I’m looking forward to a wonderful year of growth, curiosity, and community in 2nd grade!
It's a great day to be a Cheetah!
