Dear Families,

Welcome to the new school year! I am so excited to begin our journey together with our amazing 2nd and 3rd grade scholars. This will be my 4th year at Frank Love Elementary, my 8th year in Northshore, and my 28th year in education.

A little about me: I live in Kenmore with my family. Our son Hudson is starting his senior year at UW, and our two daughters live in San Marcos, Texas, and Boise, Idaho. My wife and I love to travel, spend time with family, and enjoy the lake whenever possible.

📅 Important Dates

• Meet and Greet/Supply Drop-off: Thursday, August 27, 2:15-3:15

• First Day of School: Tuesday, September 1 (full day, 3:30 dismissal)

• Full day Wednesday: September 2 is a full day with 3:30 dismissal

• Curriculum Night: Tuesday, September 22 (time TBA)

🎶 Specialist Schedule

• Library once a week: Wednesday

• Music twice a week: Tuesday and Thursday

• PE twice a week: Monday and Friday

🍎 Snack Time & Classroom Wish List
We will have a daily snack break to keep fueled for learning. Please send your child with a small, healthy snack each day (fruit, crackers, granola bar, etc.).

I also keep a small supply of community snacks for students who forget theirs. Donations of individually wrapped items (Goldfish, granola bars, fruit snacks) are always deeply appreciated! You can also support our classroom directly through our Amazon Wish List.

Family Questionnaire

While I am waiting to hear about the beginning of the school year, I wanted to make sure families are given an opportunity to share important information!
