Mrs. Fiser has spent her entire career in the Northshore School District; first as a classroom teacher and then a school librarian She grew up in this district, attended the University of Washington and then Seattle Pacific University, so Washington State has always been home. Mrs. Fiser and her family live in Bothell. Her daughter recently completed her masters in library science and is a public librarian in Richmond BC heading senior adult services. Her son is in seminary and leading student ministry in a local church. Mr. Fiser works at Boeing. Mrs. Fiser loves long walks, good books, time with her family and friends, and any opportunity to travel. When she has free time, she loves to keep practicing her knitting and sewing skills. Mrs. Fiser is grateful to work with her good friends Ms. Hall and Mrs. Martin and loves this school community.
Ms. Hall has been a Canyon Creek teacher for the past 8 years and is thrilled to a new librarian this year! Ms. Hall grew up in Washington- in Port Townsend and Yakima. She attended the University of Washington (Seattle and later Bothell), WGU and Antioch.
Ms. Hall and her family live in Brier. Ms. Hall LOVES reading, spending time with family and friends (especially at her sister's farm!), her 12 year old cattle dog mix Lucky, walking, yoga, biking, hiking and being outdoors.
Mrs. Martin has been working in the Canyon Creek library since 2017. She grew up along the shore of Lake Michigan in Michigan City, Indiana, and has lived in Washington since 1998. She graduated from Purdue University and spent ten years working as a registered nurse before taking time off to raise her family.
She has always been fond of reading, learning, and libraries. It was a joy when her role as a parent library volunteer became a staff position! She loves helping students find what they are looking for in the library and teaching them how to use the resources. She hopes the students will enjoy the library as much as she does and will continue to visit libraries long after their days at Canyon Creek.
Mrs. Martin lives with her husband and two sons in Bothell. Her family spends a lot of time doing many outdoor activities and playing with their dog Leroy.
