Your student ID gives you free access to all of King County Library System’s online information and tools:

• Homework Help from Live Tutors

• eBooks, audiobooks, videos, magazines, and newspapers, some titles in other languages other than English. Please use parent guidance as digital content includs eBooks and audiobooks for K-12th graders.

• Premium Databases like Britannica Library Children, TumbleBook Library, and BookFlix Video Storybooks.

• No fines or fees

• Directions:

• Go to www.kcls.org/students

• Click on "Elementary School Students"

• Navigate to the tool you want to use. DO NOT CLICK ON THE BLACK BOX that says Log in/My KCLS. That won’t work! Select the resource you want to use first and wait until you are prompted to log in.

• Login for students: 417_______ (417 then NSDstudent #, so 10 total digits)

• Password for students: last 4 digits of NSDstudent# _______

• TIP for checking out eBooks and Audiobooks: In the filters, select "Available Now" so you can see titles that are available to be checked out right away.

NSD OverDrive is a free service that lets you borrow digital content (like ebooks and audiobooks) anytime, anywhere. Please use parent guidance as digital content includs eBooks and audiobooks for K-12th graders.

• Log in. Username is your 7 digit NSD student number

• Password is the same the password you use for Google Apps.

• TIP: In the filters, select "Available Now" so you can see titles that are available to be checked out right away.
