Student learning resource fund (SLRF)

The SLRF is used to purchase resources that facilitate and enhance a learner’s already personalized learning plan. These resources are tied directly to specific competencies/content from the new BC Curriculum, and students must be able to demonstrate their learning using these resources. 

• Parent completes the SLRF Application Form which is automatically forwarded to the student’s NIDES teacher upon submission.

• Please note that part of the application process is that the student/parents are to create a seesaw post for each item the funding is used for and the teacher is to align to the correct curricular are in the students SLP plan.

• All invoices must be billed to our school ***Navigate NIDES and/or Heartwood Learning***

• Helpful Resources and How To Cheat Sheet for applying for SLRF

• NIDES teacher approves or denies the activity, service, or resource and informs parent.

• NIDES teacher forwards the request to accounting who will process the application and pay the third party vendor.
