Wild Learning is a US-based, nature inspired outdoor curriculum for grades K-5. This resources supports some of BC curriculum but not all. There are many US references (measurement, landmarks, etc).

Manipulatives

Manipulatives make math learning concrete and engaging by transforming abstract concepts into tangible, hands-on experiences that activate multiple senses. This play-based strategy encourages exploration, problem-solving and multiple ways or knowing while deepening understanding of mathematical concepts.

Hands-on manipulatives can be purchased using SLRF or PLRF. Below are virtual manipulative suggestions and Canadian distributors of hands-on manipulatives.
