Welcome to Second Grade!
My name is Larissa Linder! I live in Wasilla with my husband, Ron, and two daughters, Raegan and Leah. Raegan is in 6th grade and Leah is in 3rd grade! We love to spend our summers hunting, hiking, camping and fishing! We are also a hockey and football loving family!
I LOVE our school and community! Snowshoe is simply the BEST! I did my student teaching here with Mrs. Donnally in Kindergarten in 2015! I was then hired as the building sub, and stayed in that position for 3 years, with a few long term sub positions thrown in the midst. I took a brief hiatus to Tanaina Elementary, where I taught 5th grade for a year. I couldn't stay away from Snowshoe for too long though, and returned to teach 1st grade. I then moved to teach 2nd grade and this will be my 6th year here! 2nd is definitely my favorite grade so far!!
I am so excited to be a part of your kiddo's second grade year! We are going to have an amazing year!
I appreciate your understanding and grace in any cases that I may have to be out of the classroom at short notice, as I am also a parent! I will do my best to communicate as quickly and clearly as I can.

I understand that sometimes you may have questions or important needs to communicate with me outside of regular school hours. Please understand that I will do my best to respond in a timely manner, but sometimes I may not be able to get back to you immediately. I appreciate your understanding and grace with me, as I have a lot of school responsibilities, as well as be a wife and mother of small children.
I will be at school and available between 8:45 am and 4:15 pm, Monday through Friday (unless there is no school).
