The Los Rios libraries received overwhelmingly positive feedback to our trial of the Chronicle of Higher Education last month. We agree with many of your comments that this resource will foster professional development and help keep us all informed of the latest trends in academia. Therefore, the libraries have decided to subscribe to a site license for The Chronicle, which means all employees now get unlimited access to this resource from anywhere. Here’s how:
Bookmark the following link: https://ezproxy.losrios.edu/login?url=https://www.chronicle.com/ , or
Find it through the Library Research Database Page > Education , or
Create a Chronicle account, which will allow you to log in more seamlessly from anywhere on the web as well as subscribe to various newsletters.
The Los Rios OEI Rubric Academy is a mentoring program designed to help faculty who regularly teach online to optimize their students’ success by aligning their course(s) with the CVC-OEI course rubric. Work with SCC’s Nicole Woolley or faculty coordinators from other campuses, and earn an OEI endorsement that students see when they search for online CCC courses.

@ONE is an Online Teaching Certification Program that helps faculty acquire effective course design skills, increase student success and retention rates, better use existing course management tools, and learn to leverage new media to inspire students to excel.
