Support for You

I am committed to doing whatever I can to help you be successful this semester, not just in my class, but in all of your classes. Please let me know right away if you are experiencing any challenges, so I can connect you with the right resources. If you have documentation of an identified learning or other disability, let me know as soon as possible so I can ensure your access to the accommodations for which you are eligible.

The SCC website has a whole page dedicated to the Support Services we provide students. Below are links to just a few of these services. Be sure to visit the website to learn about other resources that are available to support you both in and outside of the classroom.

Disability Services and Programs

If you have a learning or other disability, SCC's DSPS program provides you with the appropriate resources and accommodations you need to participate fully in college classes and campus activities. Check out the video for how to apply!

Writing Center

There are several centers on campus that offer free tutoring or support. The best place to get help on your writing for our class is the Writing Center! It is easy and fast to make an appointment online, and you can even request a specific tutor to work with.

Technical Support

If you are having general technical difficulties or issues with Canvas, SCC offers support. You can call or drop in to a Zoom session to get your questions answered, leave a question via e-mail, or book an appointment with support personnel.
