96% of CRC's 78 students who enrolled in Intensive English have passed, with only three withdrawals. Most of these students had 2-3 prior attempts in a traditional College Composition (transfer-level) class in the Los Rios Community College District. 31%, or 23 of the Intensive English students, went on to take ENGWR 301 or 302, the next course in the English sequence. Of these, 70% passed ENGWR 301 or 302.
