In Major Project 1 we were tasked with developing an essay using the readings from our Unit 1: Language Literacies, and Cultural Identities, and defending a thesis that discusses the power of communicating and the power of literacy. I also attempt to discuss how it grants us access to a medium for all individuals to express themselves linguistically and how words have the potential to allow us to participate in our society in ways that are personally unique.
