My name is Edward Cervantes I am currently a first year college student at CRC majoring in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance. I was born in Sacramento and recently moved back home after moving to southern Alabama for a brief period of time. Up until recently I was set on learning a trade skill through a trade school or apprenticeship program but decided to go back to school and pursue a degree in cybersecurity which presented more growth opportunities for me. 

This portfolio will include the major assignments and projects that I completed in ENGWR 300. Hopefully after looking through my portfolio you will see not only my growth as a writer but as an individual as well. I believe that language is a key part of the foundation for our human experience and shapes the way we communicate with others in a myriad of ways.
