See the attached schedule for dates for the Spring 16 Week Class.
Please note that this syllabus and schedule are subject to change.
For each assignment, I recommend that you review the rubric before completing it and then again before submitting it to ensure you've addressed all the required criteria.
You submit your journals by the due date. (If you can't make a due date, contact me in advance so we can agree upon an extension.)
I will review your submission against the rubric criteria (with feedback) in the Grades area.
If your work is submitted on time, I will make every effort to review and comment on the work within two weeks of the deadline. I also encourage you to schedule a Zoom call with your instructor if you need assistance within the class.
Postings will be evaluated on the quality of the postings and the degree that the postings promote discussion with classmates. Replies to your classmates will help keep the conversation going!
To earn the maximum amount of points, your answer should fully address the question(s) and provide thoughtful responses to classmates’ postings. Students are welcome to let their classmates know they agree or disagree with their postings in their replies, but you must explain why! Please put time into your replies to each other’s postings! It is important that students give a variety of the types of replies to each other’s postings. Students are not expected to reply to comments posted on their original posting, but it is recommended if it helps keep the conversation going.
Grade “A” = Answer that demonstrates your understanding AND Three thoughtful replies
Grade “B” = Answer that demonstrates your understanding AND Two thoughtful replies
Grade “C” = Answer that demonstrates partial understanding AND One thoughtful replies
