Join legislators, state, district, and school leaders, business executives, and community partners for a one-day, action-packed summit in the heart of Minnesota. This unique opportunity provides the chance to build a coalition of thought leaders, explore Generative AI's potential to improve student outcomes and to build consensus on necessary changes to education policy relative to generative AI.
Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison will kick off the morning events which include a keynote from renowned thought leader Charles Fadel and a moderated panel with experts from across leadership sectors, including COSN Executive Director, Keith Kruger and MDE Commissioner, Willie Jett.
The afternoon brings small group work sessions and a terrific opportunity to learn, network, and inform the direction of AI in Minnesota's classrooms. Each participant will receive a copy of Charles Fadel's most recent book, "Education in the Age of AI."
Attendance is limited to 250 people due to the intensive collaboration planned.
This event is hosted by St. Cloud Area School District 742 and co-sponsored by the Minnesota Department of Education, Minnesota Association of School Administrators, Association of Metropolitan School Districts, University of Minnesota's College of Education and Human Development, Consortium for School Networking, and the Center for Curriculum Redesign.
