Profil

Ruhiyat has been a lecturer at the Department of Mathematics, IPB University for a couple of years and has a particular interest in Actuarial Science. Some of his duties are teaching and supervising undergraduate students, conducting researches, participating in community services, and managing academic activities in the department.

He obtained his Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Mathematics and a minor in Applied Statistics from IPB University, Indonesia in 2011. He received a Bronze Medal in 2010 National Mathematics Olympiad at University Level.

He completed his Master of Science degree in Applied Mathematics from the same university in 2013. Throughout this program, he published two articles and gave two presentations at national seminars.

From September 2018 to August 2019, he had an opportunity to study actuarial science comprehensively in the Master of Actuarial Science (M.Act.Sc.) program at the University of Waterloo under the READI (Risk Management, Economic Sustainability, and Actuarial Science Development in Indonesia) M.Act.Sc. Scholarship award.

He likes traveling and photography. He loves discovering new places and seeing new people. He is also excited to experience something new and unique in every destination. He believes that these experiences will help him broaden his perspective.
