Eggciting Guessing Jar Event!!

Tomorrow is the final day! Atudents can guess how many eggs are in this very full and tasty-looking candy jar. Guesses are 50 cents each or 3 for $1. The closest guess wins alllll of the candy! Funds raised go toward Grade 8 Graduation.

Local Maple Syrup Fundraiser

Thank you for your support!! Money and forms for maple products. were due back today. Pick up will be March 28 from 2 - 3pm. Funds raised will go toward student materials and technology.

Buzzing Bee Bake Sale

The whole school is invited to this epic bake sale in 3/4B. Please send coins and cash for delicious purchases on Tuesday, March 26.

All funds will go toward the Humane Society and Ontario Nature (for the bees!).

Seed Orders Due Tomorrow!

Check out the loads of seed kit options for your garden this spring! Share with family members over the March Break. This program runs now until tomorrow! Funds raised by our Madoc Township community will go directly to students' field trips and experiential learning opportunities. Thank you for your support!

Rock Your Socks for World Down Syndrome Day, March 21 (tomorrow!)

Every year on March 21, people all around the world come together to celebrate World Down Syndrome Day by wearing brightly colored, mismatched socks. March 21 is symbolic because people with Down syndrome have 3 copies of their 21st chromosome. Socks were chosen because the karyotype of Ds chromosomes actually looks like mismatched socks! When you are asked about your socks - raise awareness!

School Skating Days Feb 29 & Mar 5

We are really looking forward to our whole-school, inclusive skating days! We plan to have everyone participate - no matter their level of ability. All students must wear a helmet and skates. Please contact the school to let us know if your child will be fitted with borrowed equipment. Special thanks to Karen and Harold Bailey of the Bruce Lee House League for use of this loaner equipment. Thank you to Mr. Harvey for organizing and thank you to our amazing parent volunteers!
