Elective Opportunities:

5th Grade

• Physical Education- every other day, full year

• General Music - every other day, full year

• All 5th grade students will rotate every 12 weeks between Spanish, Health, and STEAM-every other day, Full year

6th Grade

• We are encouraging a Spanish class for the *World Language Experience 

• Choice Between:

  • Band 

  • Choir

  • Physical Education

  • Spanish

  • Art

  • STEAM

7th Grade

• Choice Between:

  • Small Engine Class

8th Grade

8th Grade students may have the opportunity to enroll in English I, Algebra I courses for high school credit, dependent upon prerequisites and availability.

*World Language Unit - We would like all students to have 2 World Language Units (WLU) before they leave the MS.  If you have been in Harper  thru elementary school, then you receive one WLU.  You can get your second one in MS.
