Clubs

ASB Clubs or Student organizations which have elected officers and constitutions. These clubs also have ability to have an ASB account and manage money for hosting events and/or fundraisers.

If you do not think you will need access to monies, consider starting an Interest Group!

If you have an idea for a club, you will need:

First: Find a few other students that may be interested and a staff member that is willing to be the Club Advisor.

Second: With the Advisor, schedule some meeting times to discuss what your club will be. Submit a Club Proposal Form to the ASB Advisor (Maryke)

Third: Advertise and schedule a meeting time with all interest to create a Constitution. Submit the Constitution to the ASB Executives to be reviewed before voting.

Fourth: Club presents their club and constitution to the ASB Senate (first Thursday of every term) for approval.

Fifth: Elect your officers and get started making your Club a place that promotes a sense of belonging!
