iPad Info

Students at Weaver Lake have the opportunity to use iPads in the classroom in grades K-3 for applied digital learning that enhances curricular learning. Below you will find a list of apps used by students (updated annually) as well as the form for requesting an app be approved by the ISD 279 App Approval Committee (for teachers only!). Only apps approved of by this district-wide committee overseen by the department of Learning & Achievement (formerly known as Curriculum and Instruction) are made available to school iPads, and the App Store is blocked entirely. Students in grades K-2 will receive an iPad Air 2 for educational use at the start of the school year, and students in grade 3 will receive and iPad (7th gen).
