Google Meet is ISD 279's chosen video-conferencing platform for facilitating both hybrid and distance learning for your students. Google Meet is Google's free (for education) alternative to Zoom. Students log into Google Meet with their Osseo G Suite account into either the web (meet.google.com) or into the Google Meet app on their iPad or other mobile device. Please encourage your student to have a dedicated space for video lessons and check-ins with staff with access to their device charger, and to abide by best practices such as enabling video and muting their mics when joining the call.
