CREDIT RECOVERY OPTIONS

Retaking a Course - If you need to recover a class, you can talk to your counselor about retaking the course during the school year.  Your counselor could possibly change your schedule to accommodate the course. 

After School Credit Recovery - The district offers students an opportunity to make-up credits through a combination of online instruction through Google Meets, in-person assistance, and independent work. In CR, students are expected to:

• Attend in-person one day after school, 2:30p-3:30p in the CRC. The day will be assigned to you after you sign up and are accepted.  

• Work on each class for a minimum of 4 hours per week

• Turn in work each week, as it is completed

• Complete at least one 0.25 credit unit per 3-week reporting period

• Fill out the registration linked above to sign up for this program

279Excel: A flexible option for students wanting to re-take classes during their school day.  This option is completely online. While you can connect with teachers during office hours, this is a fully ON-LINE option. Please connect with your counselor to learn more about this option and to sign-up.

24-25 Summer School Credit Recovery - The Osseo Area Learning Center offers a summer program for students to recover credits. The summer program is available to current students in grades 9-12 who are behind on credits or are not on track to graduate. Priority will be given to Seniors and Juniors.

Summer Session:

June 11th to July 19th

8 am to 12 pm

Monday through Friday

( No class June 10th, June 19th, July 4th, or July 5th)

Application deadline is 3pm, Wednesday May 22nd.
