Unit 2 in Reading focuses on analyzing character traits. We learned that character traits focus on how a character looks, acts, and feels. We did a special activity where we gave ourselves describing traits, then walked around and gave each other traits. We LOVED this activity.

We made Turkeys three ways in Art this month, a small turkey, a large turkey, and turkey push pin art. The turkey push pin art is always a favorite, its a different type of art that focuses on fine motor.

We read the book Neither by Airlie Anderson. This book starts with a Land of This and That, and in the end of the book there is a Land of All, where all creatures are accepted. We LOVED the book and even made our own characters for the land of all.
