Rush Creek Raccoon's earn a Rocky's Way slip when they demonstrate respect, responsibility, or personal best work at school. The whole school worked hard the month of January to fill the tree stump in the media center with Rocky's Way slips. As a reward for meeting our goal, we earned a whole school board game day!

Recycled Materials Project
Recycled Materials Project
We concluded our Animal and Plants defenses unit in science with a fun recycled materials project. Students got to create any animal they chose, and had to explain what type of defense their animal uses to survive in the wild: spikes and spines, camouflage, shells and armor, or poison and venom. Thanks for your recycled materials donations!
