REGISTRATION DETAILS
Review the grade level required courses that have been pre-registered for you in StudentVUE for English, math, science, and social studies. These should only be changed/removed if you are ADDING an HP or AP level option instead (offerings vary by subject area). See the 9th Grade Registration Course Card for requirements and options.
Review elective options and record selections on the 9th Grade Registration Course Card (hard copy was distributed at MGMS & OMS).
All final course selections for incoming 9th grade students, entered in StudentVUE, are due by 11:59pm on Friday, January 24th.
Please choose wisely as it is extremely difficult, and often not possible, to make schedule changes once the process is complete.
REGISTRATION CONFERENCES
Thursday, January 23rd (4:00-8:00pm) at Maple Grove Senior High School (enter through Door A).
To best accommodate all families, please arrive (report to the Auditorium) at the following times according to your student's last name if you are interested in hearing a general registration presentation. Families who have been through the registration process with older siblings, may drop in anytime between 4-8pm to meet staff and get questions answered.

6:00pm Student last names K - Z
Topics discussed will include graduation planning related to college and/or career aspirations, how to pick classes best aligned with student interests, elective course offerings, tips for success in high school, and the differences between regular vs. accelerated course offerings.
Administrators, counselors, and teachers (from core and elective course offerings) from each department will be available throughout the night to answer questions prior to selecting final course selections.
Families are encouraged to visit our College & Career Resource Center to meet our College and Career Specialist and learn what the CRC is, what services are provided, and how it can help you and your student.
The school building will be open for self-guided tours.
Students who receive Special Education or English Language Learner services should attend their scheduled appointment as communicated to them by their case manager or EL teacher.
