An IGP stands for Individual Growth Plan. It has two major components:
1. Student Achievement Goal and Timeline: a goal that you have for a particular group of students this year. A Student Achievement Goal should be a SMART goal.
Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Results-oriented, and have an accompanying Timeline
2. Professional Development Focus and Timeline: a goal you have for yourself this year.
IGPs are reviewed by your Peer Leader and approved by Site Liaisons at your building.
Q-Comp highly encourages Professional Learning Communities and teams to write their IGPs together.
When you are ready to write your IGP, use a SMART Goal template.
