Honor Band Information

All-District Band auditions are January 7th, 2023 (January 14th, 2023 is the snow date)

Students must know the scales and solos provided below. Along with these, students will be asked to sightread music after looking at it for less than a minute.

All-County Band takes place February 10th and 11th at Winkler MS

Students that make All-District Band automatically earn a spot into the All-County Band. From there, band director nominations go into a pull with other students from the county in which they may be selected to fill the rest of the band.

All-State Band auditions are March 4th, 2023 (March 11th, 2023 is the snow date)

Students must qualify by placing in the top chairs of the district. Students that earn a spot will be selected to participate in the clinic which takes place April 28th-30th.
