Microsoft Teams Related
Miscellaneous ITF Updates
MS Teams recently pushed out another update. Some teachers across the county have noticed the following complications. If this happens to you, let me know and I’ll do my best to troubleshoot.
Users are unable to toggle back and forth from the presentation mode to the video/facetime mode.
Students are not able to get into a meeting. (The recommended solution for this is to create a new meeting with a new link. Apparently, some of the older links are having issues.
The force mute current only working with the entire class. Apparently, it is not an option to force mute individual attendees.
The pin and/or spotlight feature has been temperamental.
Soon, all MS Teams recordings will be going directly to the OneDrive instead of Microsoft Stream. I recommend bookmarking your one drive for ease of access.
If you change your CCS password, remember to do the following.
Always select “Create NEW Keychain” if prompted.
Sign out of Microsoft Teams. Login with your new credentials. You “should” have no problems.
CCS will soon be completing a district-wide technology inventory. The technology department has hired an outside vendor to assist with the process. All faculty-related devices will be logged. Mainly this will include teacher-assigned laptops, classroom computers (if applicable), and iPads (if applicable). I will update you as more information is shared.
All Chromebook Carts are going to be surplused by the end of the year (December). Please let me know if you would like to have one before they go out the door. #ReleaseYourInnerMarthaStewart
