I studied theatre education at Emerson College and earned a Master's degree in Education from Harvard University.  I am certified to teach English and Drama, and this is my 17th year teaching here at AMHS.   I am also the advisor for the AMHS Drama Club and Student Council (high school). 

Before joining the staff at Avon Middle-High School, I was the Education Department Manager at the Huntington Theatre Company.  In my four years there, I coordinated and taught in many of the Huntington's education programs.  In addition, I have previously directed productions for Avon Park & Recreation and BC High.

I fell in love with acting at a young age, and appeared in many productions here at AMHS.  These days, you can most often find me helping my husband chase around our twin daughters (the Pynecones), our dog (Marshmallow), and our bunnies (Joe and Shadow)...but once in a while you can still catch me on stage.
