ITBS and CogAT are both standardized tests used to identify each student's strengths and weaknesses in content areas as well as basic skills. The scores from these two tests are used to identify students for the academically gifted program.

It is very important that students are present and on time during the tests.

The testing schedule is as follows:
ITBS Reading - October 9th
ITBS Math - October 12th
CogAT Verbal - October 17th
CogAT Quantitative - October 18th
CogAT Nonverbal - October 19th
Student should go to bed early (no later than 8:30, if possible.)

Parents please take time to discuss testing with your child. Students should be aware of the importance of listening and following directions. They should not be nervous or afraid. This is their time to shine!!
