Group Dynamicsengages our 6th graders through social-emotional learning (SEL). We focus on self-awareness, communication, teamwork, and other vital soft skills in order to build a solid foundation for the student.
Group Dynamics is designed to both ease the elementary-to-middle-school transitionand allow our students to emerge as leaders for the rest of their middle school career (...and beyond)! In class, students will form lasting relationships and learn the importance of building their own personal systems for success.
The overall format of the class allows students to learn SEL skills and then immediately put them into action through strategically planned activities at the conclusion of each unit.
