Digital Learning

Group Dynamics will inspire our seventh graders to build upon* social and emotional learning (SEL) skills through practical scenarios and service learning.  Students will develop skills in written & oral communication and collaborative problem-solving.

Units cover: Critical Thinking, Problem-Solving, Ethical Decision-Making, Collaboration & Perspective-Taking, Goal-Setting and Planning

Additional Responsibilities:

• Pep Rally Planning & Execution to apply critical thinking skills, collaboration, and planning in a practical way.

• Peer Buddy Program to build empathy and inclusion, with training to understand different abilities among our student population

*COURSE NOTES:

• Students who completed "Group Dynamics" in 6th grade should strongly consider "Digital Learning" in seventh grade!

• While "Group Dynamics" is not a prerequisite for this course, "Digital Learning" builds upon the framework from the 6th grade class. 

• Interested seventh graders who have not completed "Group Dynamics" are welcome!
