To complete your classroom materials inventory, we recommend using the Materials Overview Guide. This document outlines the materials needed to teach the Every Child Ready curriculum, including:
Consumables – items that need to be replenished regularly.
Non-consumables – reusable materials used year after year.
Gathered materials – items to be sourced by the teacher or school.
Optional materials – helpful additions, but not required.
Refer to this guide as you complete your inventory to ensure you have all necessary materials and to help determine what may need to be ordered or replaced.
Ask teachers to review the materials and supplies in their classrooms, complete the inventory, and submit their completed inventory forms to the person responsible for ordering in your school.
