The Special Education Team at AppleTree works closely with parents, educators and other stakeholders to identify and support students ages 3-5 who are suspected of having a disability or are eligible for specialized instruction and/or related services.
In order to best meet the needs of students with an Individualized Education Plan (IEP), AppleTree implements the IEP Goals via direct services in or outside general education, consultation, or co-teaching.
At AppleTree, we encourage families to collaborate with us in order to meet their child's needs.

If you suspect that a student has a disability that is impacting their academics, social/emotional and/or functional skills, you can make an oral or written referral to staff at the school.
The Special Education Team will collect information (observation, interview educators/parents, review work samples, etc.) and will meet to discuss next steps.
